What to Expect
CARE, Inc. makes sure to give you a sense of peace in knowing that your loved one is very well cared for.
Resolve My Care NeedsMeeting Your Care Attendant
Then, after an assessment of your unique circumstances, we will match you with a Care Attendant who best suits the needs and personality of your loved one. Most often, we try to send the same person so that your Care Attendant becomes familiar with the routine, which also puts your family member at ease, as they come to know each other better over time. However, if ever your assigned Care Attendant is unavailable, rest assured we will be able to send someone to fill their shoes and who will maintain the normal routine to the best of their ability. All of our staff are rigorously trained and have completed background checks, screenings, and extensive hiring qualifications. Most of all, they all sincerely care about people.
We have a service agreement that will be signed by both parties to ensure that all of the parameters discussed have been formally met on paper. However, should you wish to cancel the services with CARE, Inc. there is nothing to prevent you from doing so as long as we have at least 48 hours’ notice.
Getting Adjusted
For the first week or two, you can expect a “getting to know each other” adjustment period between our Care Attendant and the family member who receives care. Our supervisors work with this adjustment to ensure that everyone is satisfied and at that time we will do our best to maintain your family member’s comfort and his or her normal routine. We know that changes can be upsetting, so we like to ease into the adjustment phases gracefully and will accommodate and respect your loved one as if they were our own family. We are there for support and to help in any way we can.
We work out a schedule that is convenient for your needs.
The Help You Need
Having an in-home care assistant can be truly rewarding, as it benefits both the family member who needs help, as well as those who are unable to provide constant assistance or who need a respite from care services.
